Hi,

My name is Liz Taylor,  I am the daughter of Lon Taylor, co-founder of The 3000 Club, and I write for this blog.  Check out the following link for more information about The 3000 Club itself, but as far as this blog goes it is all about telling the everyday story of the club’s activities and members.

You will find that all our business networking members join not just for the networking opportunities, but also for the monetary  and physical support they can bring to the food rescuing efforts of the Club.  This blog is to highlight their efforts and to tell the stories of the people who benefit from the organization’s efforts - an increasing number of people these days, unfortunately.

You will find many videos on our blog because we firmly believe video to be one of the most compelling ways to tell our story.  We hope that in telling our story we will spread awareness of this important work and that through the tools of social media you will share our story with your friends and colleagues.  You never know, some of you may even end up as members or donors!
